Guess Who
Augmented Reality Game
Guess Who began as a school project and augmented reality experiment. The concept is based on an old game where players place a playing card with a famous person's name written on it on their forehead. They are not aware of "who they are", but they must guess their identity by asking others questions about themselves.
Guess Who is similar in that you must guess who you are, but other players can only tell who you are if your "marker" which is equivalent to the playing cards is viewed through a webcam. Instead of seeing a name, players will see a 3D head where their own head should be. For now, the heads are modeled after friends instead of famous people.
The markers can be printed out from this pdf.
Or to test a marker out quickly, open one of the markers below in a new window and point your webcam at the marker on your screen (make sure you can still see the game above!):
Marker 1 | Marker 2| Marker 3 | Marker 4
